Richard Scarry's First Words Flashcards

Set your child on the road to reading with 50 flashcards that introduce cars, trucks, animals, colors, numbers, and more, all featuring classic art from the busy, busy world of Richard Scarry!

Covering numbers and colors, as well as planes, trains, boats, and other topics that kids will love, this set of fifty flashcards is the perfect way for children ages 3 to 5 to learn how to read. Each card includes a word on one side, and the reverse side features the same word paired with artwork from beloved Richard Scarry books like Cars and Trucks and Things That Go and Busy, Busy Town. At first, kids will learn to pair the word with its corresponding picture, and then they’ll begin to read the word on its own.

Carefully crafted for your early reader, the cards are oversized so that little hands can hold them with ease, and are also the perfect size for taking on the go. Additionally, the cards are packaged with a Velcro closure so that kids can access the cards by themselves. Richard Scarry’s First Words Flashcards will help your busy, busy learner become a busy, busy reader.
