The Drewart wooden Flower Press is made from beautiful solid Alder plates, inside which are layers of corrugated cardboard ventilators and blotting paper.

Held together with four wooden nuts and bolts, pressure is applied evenly by turning the large wooden nuts on top of the press as the plants dry.

Collecting leaves and flowers on walks and outdoor adventures becomes something special for children and what better way to preserve those treasures!  This activity fosters an appreciation of nature and children will enjoy looking for new special items that can be flattened and dried in the wooden press.

Drewart wooden toys are handcrafted in Poland from solid alderwood, a sustainable timber from European forests. The timber is finished with a non-toxic natural plant oil which adds beauty to the visible grain of the timber and makes each piece unique.
